lol. that is a very loaded accusation you are making... I'll agree partially with that.
to an extent you have a point. technical proficiency is/was lacking among us. however it takes more than just "shurOkars" to make a good song. while we have some really good singers, the number of such gifted accompanying musicians are almost non existent.

i'll say again no doubt those songs were created by gifted composers whose musicianship was nurtured by other giants of the Indian subcontinent most of whom had migrated to cultural capitals of the subcontinents so as to make a living and sustain a viable cultural identity.

beauty is to be appreciated no matter where it is found! but one also has to support their own. because without effort, encouragement and support we can not rise above our station. Bangladeshi are just as talented any any others but we need to foster it and support it

I've no problem with appreciating Indian or for that matter Pakistani music but Bangladeshi music has a special place in my heart because it is the songs of my parents. I was born in the USA but I still love Bangladesh!

btw, it doesn't matter what your religion is! Some of the giants in the Indian music industry since Mughal time till today have been Muslims. The majority of Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis don't really care what the religion of the artists are - they mostly care about the art.
