If the 2007 Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series and 2007 BMW M6 could talk trash, things would get ugly in a hurry.
The big-bore Benz would snort something about its 465 pound-feet of grunt, the kind of power that would leave the Bimmer's flame-surfaced sheet metal in a smoldering pile on the road. The high-strung M6 would make a remark about the Benz's boy-racer fender flares, silly bodywork vents and decidedly uncivilized exhaust note.

It seems foolish to compare to very, VERY, different cars. One is a luxury sports coupe, capable of carrying 4 persons and luggage in comfort. The other is a more focused sportscar, with only two seats, more aimed at track days. One NA engine, the other with SC.
Apples and oranges.
The CLK is to be compared with lambos, farraris and Paganis.

m motorsports is the branch of bmw that modifies bmw's like the old m1, m3, m5, and m6. that's exactly what amg is. amg is to mercedes, as m motorsports is to bmw. if you want to compare hartage and say if there was a bmw hartage, it would beat clk63, it's not a fair comparison. comparing a brabus to a hartage, or a kleeman to hartage would be fair.

Good comparison showing true potential of Mercedes-Benz AMG. The black series is a really solid car. However, its unfair to compare it to the M6. The Black is much newer. Built specifically to beat the M5 and M6 - which are BMWs only comparable models. So please, don't begin to compare M6 to SL and CL classes.
Keep in mind people, the M6 is based on a 05 platform, whilst Black is based on a late 08/09 platform.
I must say, as a BMW fan...the M6 is a failure. Its shit! Different to M5 about none!
