I think that sometimes the EU is totally out of touch and up their own asses in Brussels (long way from Norway). But you, I and others now must try to protect, preserve and restore life on this planet. Most damage to marine life has happened over past 20 years. We are well-educated people who can do something. Also, whales are good for tourism. Who can loose????

Norway and the USA have really somethign in common; they both think they're the best in the world. I don't think Norway is all that great, it's cold, it's expensive and health care in Austria and the Netherlands is 10 times better, schools in Canada 10 times better and they are nowhere more liberal than in the Netherlands.

We've had summers with heat up to 110* F, warmer then the av ridge in Florida. It really depends on what part of Norway. Just like Canada.
