Anyone here who puts Slash in the same league as Buckethead, you are fools. Slash is nothing but a sloppy blues player with soul when he's drunk. Buckethead surpasses Slash in SO many ways it's not even funny. For example, Buckethead has more music theory knowledge, he has more skill, more speed, more emotion into his songs, more composition ability, more diversity, technicality on a guitar, and my list goes on. Slash is a speck of dirt to Bucketheads wasteland.

Hey TheRealAchilleZ almost everything you listed is WRONG he has speed but he doesnt have any emotion(and yes i've listened to his stuff so i know what i'm talking about he has skill but his only skill is playing fast and looking like a douchebag I mean who in the right mind would dress like that even if its only on stage(idk if he dresses like that in everyday life too)he has no diversity again he has speed thats it and Jimmy Page, George Harrison,Angus Young and Slash are better than him.

first off, how does he have no diversity when he plays: blues, rock, metal, ambient, funk, acoustic, i mean he plays every style i can think of, and he does it very well. yes, he goes fast, but its not all hes good for.
some of the most emotional and expressive songs i've heard on guitar are by him, soooo you apparently don't know what you're talking about!

to think this lesson is the sum of all his playing style is completely ignorant, and those are probably the people who have only seen this from buckethead. like any great artist, he never shows all of his tricks at once, and spreads them out so it seems like they are infinite, this video is plainly him showing off hilarious sounding riffs that are just ridiculous. NO MUSICAL VALUE, JUST PLAIN OLD FUN GUITAR PLAYING AND FLASHY RIFFS. IT WAS INTENDED TO BE THAT WAY YOU MORONS!

he just wants to be known for his ability. The facade is to separate himself from what he does in the public eye. He's genius. He came up with an impossibly ridiculous distraction to draw peoples attention.
