This is a clip of the SIUC cheerleader who fell headfirst off the top of a pyramid in the 4th quarter. In a show of great school spirit, she continues to lead the squad in a cheer to the SIU fight song, Go Southern Go! As she is lead off the floor strapped down to a strecher! Thankfully, she's going to be OK.

I was in the arean that afternoon and to see Kristi cheer to the schools fight song brought a tear to my eye, i was so proud. This happened with just a few minutes left in the championship game of the conference tournament. Yes she is ok and in on the squad again this year.

how the hell did she fall?? The crappy camera angle they show here makes it seem like she just fainted and fell off the top....I really don't understand HOW or WHY she fell. Is there a better video of this, where we can see what happened better?

i was watching the game when this happened, i live about 30 miles from SIU, i about crapped myself cuz it was a timeout and the camera was on SIUS bench and all of a sudden u see a cheerleader in the background fall
