Jakes is Obsessed with money...Now that I think about it, so is my landlord, and Walmart, and the Gas Station and the Phone company, and the Power company...every time I turn around, they're talking about money. Oh...I guess it takes money to run your life AND a church ministry....

Yep, I think you might be right...all these ministries want is your money...dang it all my Landlord wants is my money...shoot all my power company want is my money...man...all my insurance company want is my money...and that grocery store cashier keeps asking me for money to...could it be a conspiracy...or perhaps does it TAKE MONEY TO LIVE AND TO RUN A CHURCH!!!! Perhaps it's your worship of money that might be the real issue.

people who are obsessed with misuse of money are usually people who would NEVER give a dime anyway....they want an excuse not to give money to the church. The T.D. Jakes doesnt have bad motives....you do.

A lot of churches PERIOD. To an extent, the church IN GENERAL isn't wrong for wanting your money, because for ONE, that's what it takes for ministry to continue running. Number TWO, it's generally Biblical. Now it getting ridiculous goes totally outside of color. I do agree, it seems more prominent in Black churches, but, as an HONEST and God-dependant Black preacher, I would advise you to not limit your observations.
