This strenth and faith of this family is inspirational. Especially the unity of the children. How much easier would it be for them to isolate Will Franklin? But, they show us the TRUE meaning of FAMILY. I can only hope and pray that I teach my children to show each other the love and respect that this family shows. Thank you for posting this.

First, all of our sympathies and prayers for the Chapman family. Impossible to know what they are going through. Second, I cannot believe that ABC would air an interview with someone like SCC and his family and only allow reference to Christianity ONCE, five seconds into the piece. Does anyone believe that the Chapmans did not even once mention God or Jesus in the several hours that the interview took? There is no way that they didn't. The Larry King interview was much better.

I rolled tape on this episode, knowing that Steven Curtis Chapman was going to be on, but not knowing if I'd be able to find it elsewhere after it aired. It is a terrible tragedy to have befallen this family, and I have loved SCC's music since the mid 1980s. There is something wrong with this world that we live in. It was not meant to work like this.Christians cannot live in the fantasy that their faith somehow protects them from tragedy or hardships. Faith is the substance of things "hoped" for the evidence of things not yet seen. The kingdom of heaven is not yet fully manifested, but the faith of the Chapmen family is evidence that it is among us. I can only be encouraged to be a vessel for bringing the kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
