Video Description:
The FA launched an inquiry after the FA Cup 3rd round draw on December 2nd 2007 - when viewers complained the wrong team was read out. Eagle-eyed fans claimed when ball 25 (Middlesbrough) was pulled out, the ball called was 24 (Manchester United). But did the FA score an own goal? They insist the draw was correct, and blame studio light glare for the confusion. Make your own mind up here.

It's 24 underlined you idiots. All the numbers are underlined but with the dodgy blurry zoom in it looks like a 5 and you can't see the gap between the number and underline.

Yes from a distance it looks like 25 BUT all the numbers are underlined and that is what makes it look like a 25.
I just wanted to add, stop at 0:40 and you actually see 24 sat right there facing the camera right as Sammy grabs it. His hand appears to go for it, just too add a little extra confirmation.

Apparently, there's going to be a mass boycott of this week's FA Cup games as a protest against the FA and, in particular, their despicable decision to expel Bury FC from the competition in the 2006/2007 season.
I'll certainly be staying away, to show my support. Down with the FA!
