Jeff Queen is definitely the greatest on that stage. He's the second drummer that appears after 2:00 in. The tenor player was kinda lame though in my opinion.
If you ever get the chance to see "Blast" live you should, it's an amazing show.

well it's impressive of course, it required a hell of alot of talent and preparation of course as well, but it's not as creative enough. It worked on me though, my jaw was "dropped" for almost the whole time :D

First of all these are awesome. This style of solo snare playing became popular in the late 80's. I credit Rich Viano who was the lead snare in 1989 with Star of Indiana (when I marched and played soprano in the corps). He won DCI Solo/Ens. with a solo very similar to the first guy on this video back in 1989. Rich was like Michael Jordan on snare. He was doing this stuff when others were playing conventional solos. Rich stood out and changed the game. Look him up.

All I see is drama, and drum skill showcase. Other than that, I don't know what the heck they are trying to accomplish. I just think it's a little pointless. Their individual skills are just average or above average at best. If you don't agree with me, check out those amazing drumers online. So I really don't see why the audiance go crazy about some blind folded drummers. Go blind fold yourself, you'll drum pretty much the same level in a few hours. Overated!

Sure, your guys on crenshaw are as "Legit" as Nick Cannon in the movie drumline. A high school freshmen could do better than his ass. These guys are not the best, but they are still very good.
