ummm...not everyone in quebec is french. And not everyone in ontario is english. ottawa has a lot of french speaking people living in it (mind you its just an overpass away from hull) and so do many towns around it. You are an insult to canadians and obviously didn't pay attention in geography (the part where they teach you about which provinces belong to canada, and perhaps you slept in history class as well, where they teach you about canada's TWO official languages)

Kanervatie, As a Montrealer I thank Finland for Saku Koivu. He is one of the most respected players in the NHL. Koivu is a true hockey hero and the best captain Montreal could wish for. He s got courage and heart. He is a warrior who plays fair and hard. If this is how Finland raises their children you should be very proud of your nation!

I almost hate to ... ( 2 days ago by lskarin)
I almost hate to get a little serious on you folk, but here goes: I became a Ranger fan in 1957. I was hooked. But at that time no television-not radio-covered hockey. So I took my radio (a 5-tube superhet) and aimed its antenna north. Got Hockey Night in Canada with Foster Hewitt doing the play-by-play and the Hot Stove League between periods. Intelligent. Not Coach's Corner. Got me interested in Canada and I've been hooked on the CBC ever since. So I'm an American who reads the Globe & Mail.
