Sonata Arctica's vocal stylings are brilliant. I really love their focus on lyrics and melody. Add in some amazing riffs and a really memorable chorus in most songs, and you've got a very solid band. Two thumbs way up.

The big problem with Dragonforce is that every of their songs sound the same. And yes, Sonata Arctica is in many aspects, better than them. Riffs, lyrics, originality,... Though let's keep what remains to Cesar, the guitarists of Dragonforce have strong solos that barely cannot be beaten because of their speed. Though it seems they just can't doing their solos right Live unlike Sonata Arctica. It's a shame.
And I love this song. In november, I'm finishing my Wolf and Raven tattoo-piece.

If they cant play tunes live then why write them? If they're unable to play their tunes then they're just cheating.
I hate dragonforce because thats all they are... speed. And sloppy speed at that.
They cant play properly and what they do play isnt worth listening to.
Sonata Arctica are legends while dragonforce wouldnt know a tune if it bit down on their head and clinged on until the end of time.

The problem with Dragonforce is that htye only focused themselves on the guitars solos on the CDs rather than Live which is why it is not trully an honorable band. I'm not saying they suck - it would be worth a green plant's intelligence - but they just are not as talentuous as they want to show us. And yes, Sonata Arctica ARE true legends - musicians - compared to them.
