Joplin didn't look 55, she looked tired and she was...and I know why she was tired. Yes, drugs did not do her any good, but hey, Keith Richards is still with us and that should be the 8th/9th wonder of the world. It wasn't all drugs, it was her broken heart.

Well do yall have your morning tea together since your both such best friends, and if you could ask her what it was like living in the best music era ever. Id appreciate it and so would everyone else. And the information I have is from the Biography channel when her parents came to see her live and Janis wore outrageous clothes was badly stoned running around and her parents left the town and told her she was a disgrace, Since you know her so well in your 34 yrs ask her if thats true?

Ok thanks for correcting me, Its been a few years since I saw that bio, and that stuck in my head about what happened, I'll go and buy the book Im sure its good. There will never be another on like her.
