They're not remaking it. And FF7 is probably the most over-rated FF to date, you can play it but I'd prefer FF6 or 4.

I feel the same. FF7 was great and unique at its time, no doubt the greatest in its year of release. But it is definitly not the best FF or even RPG in the world.
I liked 8 and 9 more.

The crisis Core ending epilogue scene is just like this, except Clouds on top of the train.
SE has better understanding of the PS3 now with FF13 so obviously the graphics for this demo are dated.
Any game they make from then on in, will be extremely good looking.

Final Fantasy Tactics(for PSX) blows all other Final Fantasy's away. PERIOD.
Best Story.
Best Gameplay.
Most Violence.
Not the best GFX, but I don't care about that.
This demo is really sick though, are they really making a new FF7 for the PS3?

If you've ever played Crisis core and beat it, This video plays at the end. It may say its a technical demo but its just the ending cinematic. Don't get your hopes up

Actually... your wrong on that, in the end of Crisis Core its exactly the same as it untill the train part where Cloud says
"My name is cloud, Soldier First Class" in Crisis Core and Stops, it doesnt show him hopping off the train or the train stopping.
But i also doubt there will be a FF7 Remake for the Ps3 FF13 Versus will proabably be hte next FF7

Damn straight dude, and if i may be so blunt, i am sick to death of all these FFVII Spin offs they keep making. They are milking FFVII for all it is worth, teasing us with extended storylines and sequal movies, when all we really want is a FFVII REMAKE! COME ON SQUARE-ENIX STOP TEASING!

No, it's actually a PS3 tech demo from several years ago at E3 (before the PS3 was released). It later appeared as an FMV in Crisis Core, but with added dialogue. The above video is actually of the PS3 rendering the clip in realtime.

is this in the works?...been awhile since i played the original but if they do a remake will it be same storyline , weapons, characters, etc...and just better graphics, playability..or is this all a fuckin dream?...i think the only way to make the game better is update it with much needed graphics...they give cars a facelift all the time..why not this classic..
