Hm... anyone who knows me from GameFAQs knows me by this name. WHY not pick zallard1 as a name? Well... this is why...
Back in 2005, I NEVER used forums. But then I bought a game called Soul Calibur III. I thought "Man! this game will be GREAT! It'll rock just like SCII did on the GC".
Little did I know, the game was OUTRAGEOUSLY harder than the last games in the series. I ACTUALLY broke a controller with this goddamn game.
But, this game lets you make your own characters. So, I made several, one of which was Kain from FF4. Since I thought I would NEVER use forums outside of this, I basically made the name based on that, since the one I made ACTUALLY reminded me the most of the actual character it was based off of (ie didn't suck).
I posted my character in every CaS (create a soul) thread I could find, yet was basically told that Kain was the "simplest character to make, since you could just put whatever you want on him, then change the color to blue".
So that didn't really end well, and I just stopped posting there.
Now about this video... for some outrageous miracle, I fulfilled the insanely hard task of running into this bastard called Night Terror in Story Mode. The tasks were something like:
"take a specific route with your character without dying ever, and then you'll run into the ORLY Owl, and fight him. Beat him without dying, then you fight Night Terror"
Now, Night Terror is essentially, the cheapest boss I have ever fought, period. He roughly had Nightmares power, while being one of the fastest character in the game. Also, you can't ring him out (he fucking FLIES back in). I've beaten him 2 times. Once the time I encountered him, and again in the challenge mode.
This footage is just me (as Kain) struggling to even stand a remote chance against this goddamn beast. This is the only video I have of me playing a game before I posted all this Starfox nonsense. I mainly recorded this so that I could show my friends how absurd this boss was.
I can't really play this game anymore anyways, since my PS2 recently decided that reading discs is "retarded".
Do yourself a favor, and skip this game, unless you're a god at SC. Play SC2 (or hell, SC4 when it comes out) before messing with this.
