You people that say no soul are idiots. Just because he doesn't show any soul while he's playing doesn't mean he doesn't put any into what he plays. He seems like a zombie on stage I know, but still, he's not like some robot that was programmed to play bass. He chose it, stuck with it, and became insanely good at it. As far as his solos go, I haven't seen or heard any bassist play as fast or as creative as that. That is musicianship, accept it for what it is.

i agree and its not his fault. he has a phobia of cameras and stage fright. hes also very shy and intrapersonal. so he probably is putting his soul into it, or else he wouldnt of gotten this far with his talent, hes just shy.

Again though, they all share the same complex.

i think Myung is great bassplayer, but why he always plays the same :/ 20 years with DT and over and over the same bass.
He has so amazing technique and great talent he could create some great bass music like Pastorius, Wooten, Malone, Levin, Clark. etc
