You're an even bigger fool than I thought. You probably work for these companies. Disease and fear mongering are what drug companies specialize in.They know they can't force people to take their poisons.So they prey off of their fears by convincing them if they don't their gonna suffer some terrible illness or disorder.Fear is an excellent marketing strategy.And that's what drug companies specialize in. And FYI disease is nothing but years of not taking care of yourself manifesting itself.

Mike Adams is spot on with this video. Statin drugs have never been proven to increase lifespan or prevent heart attack. Period. Statins are drug muggers of your nutrient, Coenzyme Q10, and this creates muscle aches, higher risk for heart attack, stroke and CHF, even with perfect cholesterol. Read my books, I've done the research. It's LpA, and fibrinogen that are the REAL cardiac killers but you won't hear about this until someone makes a new pill.

Your an idiot... i wonder if you ever take medication?! I love these random generalization you use with no back up... For those who do not know it is proven that lowering LDL by 1 mmol/L will significantly decrease possibilities of fatal, non-fatal and other types of cardiac events. For more information refer to the meta analysis known as CTT, patient group of over 90,000... but i suppose basic knowledge is not needed when posting pseudoscience claims.

What are you basing your argumentative statistics on?
Are people not living longer? Is quality of life not improved significantly? Maybe you are one of these people who does not do any scientific research into medicine and its effect on the world. So i lay down a challenge. If medicine is so bad, and these companies are so awful... stop taking any medication. Simple. No-one is twisting your arm to take it. Wow... brilliant... i suppose that the condition homozygous or Heterozygous hypercholesterolemic means nothing to you? or the fact that type II diabetics have massive issue with "Sticky Cholesterol" and the fact that there are more and more children with type II diabetics due to poor diet hasn't alluded you either? You need to take you own advice. Why is type 2 diabetes a major issue today amongst children is the question we should be asking ourselves? You said it yourself it is due to poor diet. Well, don't you think the smartest thing to do is stop feeding kids all the crap that's causing the problem instead of just have them pop another pill. Drugs don't deal with the source of the problem, they only mask symptoms. The answer to most health problems is not another toxic pill. So take your own advice.

I don't take any pills because I don't have to. I take the proactive approach to health problems. And if a person has to take some chemical everyday to maintain some normal functioning in the body then no their quality of life is not improved. Being a slave to pharmaceutical drugs is not an improvement. It's a prison sentence. A prison that drug companies would be happy to place every American in. It makes me angry to see people being taken advantage of.

This is not a joke. Cholesterol is one of the biggest killers going around. No matter what cholesterol study you look into, "Hearts", "CTT" etc show that for patients who have heightened cholesterol die earlier and quicker. No-one is a slave. People choose to put the pill in their mouths. I think it is very important to get this big bad pharma idea out of your mind and look at what good it does. People live longer. But when companies do this its all of a sudden a massive conspiracy. the fact people overlook is that FDA approved studies are double blind, multi-centered studies, that pharma companies do not control or have a say in. healthy, but what if a relative of yours was not? And you know this can help them. Allow them to live for an extra 20-30 years? I have heard of cases where children as young as 9 died from CV events due to high cholesterol, you mean to tell me that this is all lies? that cholesterol problems do not exist? Talk to patients who have had CHD, PVD, CVD, or families who have lost loved ones. Try tell them that cholesterol is rubbish and does not exist. people don't appreciate what choices they have.

What is your problem? I never once denied that bad cholesterol isn't a serious issue. But I do know that it's an issue that can be taken care of naturally without the aide of toxic pharmaceutical drugs. If drug companies wanted to do something meaningful, they would create a product that solve the problem once and for all. But instead their pills are something people have to take for the rest of their life which guarantees billions of dollars in profits. Like I said before, it's all a big fraud.

where is the toxicity in the pill?? Makes no sense. The source of problems with hypercholesterolemic patients is the Liver! Not food. Food is only 20% of the problem! you still have 80% to deal with. There are certain aspects of health that natural therapy or diet cannot help. That's why statins exist. Type II diabetes is not cause by cholesterol. But cholesterol is a problem when a patient has type II diabetes. And what if they have type I? what then? Let them die? Ridiculous arguments.

Your body still needs Cholesterol. If you design a drug that completely blocks of the HMG-CoA reductase you run into all sorts of trouble. the best method is to regulate it with different statin dosages. It all great for someone who has not been in the medical field to scream conspiracy and fraud, it is a bit different when you consider the genetic make up of people. Cholesterol is needed by your body you cant turn it off and solve the worlds problems. You need to control it.

The only people that need statins are those with familial hyperlipidemia, where the total cholesterol levels reach 350 or higher. For the other 99.9 percent of us, we do not need to be worried about the numbers so much as the size of the particle, and that can only be regulated by diet. You do not want cholesterol molecules too small, because they will get stuck in arteries where nutrients would normally get transported.

When a cell or artery or anything in your body gets damaged, your body gets rid of it and has to make a new cell. YOU NEED CHOLESTEROL to build a cell membrane. So if you have high cholesterol, you are probably damaging your body in some way. Try not smoking, drinking alcohol, or ingesting fluoride, chlorine, fried foods, fast acting sugars, transfats etc, as these all cause arterial and cell damage.

Also, taking a statin to lower your risk of heart disease and get rid of plaque is not logical for another reason; rhabdomyolosis. So you think that high cholesterol clogs your arteries...so that means your heart needs to be stronger in order to move blood past those 'plaques.' But if you take something which weakens your muscles, and your heart is a muscle, you weaken the heart, which means blood is not pumped as efficiently....

And there is no good or bad cholesterol people! There is only one type. There are 2 different CARRIERS, LDL and HDL. LDL takes cholesterol to places in need, and HDL recycles it and takes it back to the liver, as cholesterol is a very complex molecule to make, so that your body saves energy by recycling it. On a side note, athletes should have a higher cholesterol count, as they are constantly building new cells. Cholesterol is also needed to maintain your myelin sheath.
