Apperance is based on opinion. For example, in MY opinion although most Mercedes-Benz are quite attractive... I veiw Lexus design as discreet but elegant.
So it is useless for you to say Lexus has "boring" designs, because many people while think otherwise.

I rode in a lexus once, why once? road noise was horrible, my SDL makes less road noise then that lexus I rode in, honestly poor people get lexus's, THAT"S why don't complain.
they also happen to like the benz more when they've gotten a test drive.

Merc had the problem that they cut costs in the mid 90's, the cars where still great, but if you buy a Merc you expect a Merc, if you buy a Lexus you expect, well nothing at all.

MB builds their cars a lot nice than Lexus and Acura. the are also pretty reliable. But, when something breaks, its an arm and a leg to fix it. My mom has one adn a oil change is 500 dollars

I can compare Lexus cars from 1990-2000 to BMW & Mercedes 1990-2000. Look at the exterior design of the cars, the technology, and interior. Lexus looked wayyy better & was better in all 3 aspects! Curvy & smooth body. Bmw and mercdedes looked UGGGLYYYYYY like its from 1940 inside and out!! I knew nothing about Luxury and i chose Lexus based on looks and luxury!!! Thats truth. I would have been fooled by Mercedes or BMW. They're copying Lexus luxury, technology, & eco friendly engineering.

This comes from a guy with no bias yet i chose the more luxurious car. You already had a preconcieved notion (bias/brainwashed) about quality. I chose Lexus LS because it looked better all around with a "newer" style. The interior was beautiful compared to the merceedes SL! Look at the 1992 SC400 interior. And compare it to a 1992 mercedes or BMW. The SC is a freakin COCK PIT with detail, quality and leather. IF you want to compare, go back to 1990's. Then look at Lexus now. It still wins.

You know nothing about Lexus. Check 600 HL out. MB socks. I have both. I always thought that MB is better than Lexus, but I was wrong. Lexus offer ride and comfort that is just unbelievable; and also please find more dependable car...
