20 Luglio 2003 - Gran Premio di Gran Bretagna - Silverstone
Alle 13.21 (locali) un pazzo in kilt e con una bandiera in mano che usa come banderilla corre incontro alle macchine sul rettilineo dell'Hangar, dove i piloti arrivano dopo una curva a sinistra, accelerando per raggiungere la massima velocità.
Lui, l'invasore, un irlandese di County Kerry residente a Londra, 56 anni e un paio di slip verdi imbarazzanti (nella caduta è finito gambe all'aria), quando Barrichello ha rimesso le cose a posto portandosi in testa, era già nel commissariato di Northampton, sotto il torchio di una polizia serverissima.
L'accusa è di «aggravated trespassing», violazione aggravata.
L'invasore si rivelerà un prete in trasferta nel Northamptonshire di nome Neal Horan che prima del plateale show di Silverstone aveva scritto ai potenti della terra per protestare contro il consumismo e la povertà di valori morali dell'umanità.
I cartelli che sbandierava in pista, infatti, erano a sfondo religioso: "Leggete la Bibbia, credete in quello che sta scritto nella Bibbia".
