Video Description:
Interesting video I came across of some wacko Scientologists harassing some camera guy (Mark Bunker) who disagrees with Scientology. They even tried to follow him home and they've picketed his actual home.

opinion |əˈpinyən|
noun
a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge
I already explained that. for anyone else who missed it;
he and others started having "religious experience" like out of body experiences, with it.
it was during one of those that he realized that he and all people are really "spiritual beings", as is the Supreme Being. and that's when it became a religion.
he and others started having "religious experience" like out of body experiences, with it."
Did he PROVE those? E.g. read something behind him and recite it?
"Benzedrine often helps a case run."
- L. Ron Hubbard, "The Intensive Processing Procedure," 1950
["Run a case" = administer Dianetics or Scientology procedures to someone]
"I'm drinking lots of rum and popping pinks and greys."
- L. Ron Hubbard in a 1967 letter to his wife
I guess you mean the "un-defendable" part, because you HAVE been on here for 10 months, each day... very soon you will have wasted a year of your life doing THIS. Money well spent, isn't it.
"Let's sell these people a piece of blue sky."
- L. Ron Hubbard to an associate in 1950, soon after the opening of the Hubbard Dianetic Research Foundation. (Jon Atack, A PIECE OF BLUE SKY: SCIENTOLOGY, DIANETICS AND L. RON HUBBARD EXPOSED, Lyle Stuart/Carol Publishing Group. 1990)
- L. Ron Hubbard to Lloyd Eshbach, in 1949; quoted by Eshbach in OVER MY SHOULDER: REFLECTIONS ON A SCIENCE FICTION ERA, Donald M. Grant Publisher. 1983
"Lets sell these people a piece of blue sky."
oh, yes. I meant the "un-defendable" part. and I also haven't been here each day, in spite of what you think.
not that I have any problem with spending some time here each day anyway.
of course not. one CANNOT prove a "religious experience."
so what.
Ah, the conveniently unprovable "religious" experiences that make $cientology a religion.
You said "like out of body experiences". Write something on his back and let him read it and see if he's for real or just HALLUCINATING.
"not that I have any problem with spending some time here each day anyway."
"SOME" time, Val? LOL
it's not a matter of "convenience" or "inconvenience" merely because you say so.
religious experiences happen to be impossible to prove in ANY religion, not just Scientology.
so Scientology is no less of a religion for not being able to prove a religious experience than any of the others, since NONE of them can prove it.
because it cannot be proven by ANY religion, of course.
so what.
just because one has an out of body experience doesn't mean he can CONTROL it the way he would like.
and maybe he WAS hallucinating!
just like maybe Muhammad, Moses, Jesus, Buddha, Zoroaster, etcetcetc were hallucinating.
maybe.
so what.
How convenient. So he was hallucinating or lying. I wonder if Hubbard's drug abuse had something to do with it.
"just like maybe Muhammad, Moses, Jesus, Buddha, Zoroaster, etcetcetc were hallucinating."
*rolleyes* Fuck your bullshit comparisons.
as I said, convenience has nothing to do with it, merely because you say so.
and you have no proof he was hallucinating OR lying.
or that he was taking drugs.
this is all speculation on your part.
oh, and
"Fuck your bullshit comparisons too."
Neither has "religious" anything to do with the "experiences".
"and you have no proof he was hallucinating OR lying."
And conveniently no proof he was telling the truth. What I DO have is the fact that Hubbard was a notorious liar.
"this is all speculation on your part."
So is the "religious" part.
that's your opinion. who are you to say that?
"And conveniently no proof he was telling the truth."
as I have said, religious experiences cannot BE proven, DUH.
AND you have carefully avoided refuting this, because you know you CANNOT.
and whether LRH was "hallucinating" or "a liar" is COMPLETELY irrelevant.
MY religious experiences, are enough for ME to know that it IS a religion.
and impossible for ANY religion to prove.
We believe vaLLarrr is nothing more than a troll working for Anonymous in order to make us look bad, we're nothing LIKE how vaLLarrr describes.
If anyone has any genuine questions about us, I'll be happy to attempt answering.
Prove that they were RELIGIOUS experiences.
"as I have said, religious experiences cannot BE proven"
So the only "proof" that $cientology is a religion cannot be proven. How convenient.
"and whether LRH was "hallucinating" or "a liar" is COMPLETELY irrelevant."
Not really, Val.
"MY religious experiences, are enough for ME to know that it IS a religion."
And you can't even say what they are. Have you considered that you're DELUDING yourself?
oh, I CAN say what they are. I just choose NOT to.
and yes, I DID consider that I might be deluding myself, as a matter of fact.
have you?
well, that "convenient" or "inconvenient" fact happens to be true of EVERY religion, not just Scientology.
so?
