so there somehow ... ( 3 weeks ago by Zavita18)
so there somehow came a bunch of squirrels in a summer that have never experienced a winter and have a random gene to tell them save up food for this certain time?
really, tuxolai? ... ( 2 weeks ago by TheSmoonge)
really, tuxolai? Do you believe that someone created the video game Spore or that it just happened on it's own? Any universe or world created in 3D space via computers is a creation of a creator or creators. Why is it so implausible that someone or something created our reality? DUH.
Not trying to prove ... ( 2 weeks ago by TaPpingForTruth)
Not trying to prove you wrong. It's consciousness. Consciousness is life. Fractals. There is nothing inorganic. The universe has consciousness (not quite thought, but information, energy.) This consciousness creates movement. By definition, animation is life. Movement. So the question is - Why does this movement occur? You feel me?
Hello, TheSmooge. ... ( 2 weeks ago by TaPpingForTruth)
Hello, TheSmooge. This reality is a hologram. We are only meant to understand what is in front of us. Trying to understand it is a good thing, but it can be used to alter perception - a bad thing. We know that the Universe is completely build on energy. Atoms are not linear. So what we think of as matter is only energy. It can be directed. How? By the observer. The creator is duality. The controller is the observer. We are not controlled by the creator. You see? Our thoughts are energy.

I second that.
A gene is only the ... ( 2 weeks ago by TaPpingForTruth)
A gene is only the blueprint for potential things to happen within a cell. The signal causes the enzyme to copy the DNA into RNA so that it can carry out a specific function within the cell. The brain is the signal. Neural pathways are developed by genes and passed down through evolution. There is not a "store food" gene. It's the reptilian (instinctual) brain that tells you to do something. It's not like humans have a "defend yourself" gene. Instincts are not genes. They are developed by them.
A space god that ... ( 2 weeks ago by hobatu)
A space god that creates universes or engineers life is theoretically possible in science, but not one which gives instructions to people or cares about who they sleep with. For one, any spacegod hypothesis excludes all the religions on earth because they contradict well established scientific theories. At least that's how I understand it.

turns out im taking biology right now and this is what i know. And if you think im wrong dont post a stupid comment like that explain yourself. Whats wrong about my statement? It's my conclusion about it give me yours and we'll see who needs more education.

Right, i agree with that totally, but where did the instinct come from?
Evolution occurs ... ( 1 week ago by superpsilocybin)
Evolution occurs via natural selection, Animals with traits that aid in its survival are more likely to produce offspring, Thus the genes that are responsible for those traits will be passed on, In this way, the genetic code of a species changes from one generation to the next over periods of time. (hundreds of thousands of years)
However, the mutations that aid in the species' survival are not built to do so. They occur at random, most of them are usless and become dormant over time.

In a few years we will look back on those well established scientific theories and wonder how we could be so stupid.
I think if we were created by some sort of advanced "life" it's probally because we are a part of some living thing much greater than us, and we are like bacteria in comparison, not just in size but in behavior too. I'd doubt this supirior life form cares much about us, It's probally not any more aware of us than we are aware of the bacteria in our intestine.
Which proves that ... ( 1 week ago by Zavita18)
Which proves that all the squirrels would have died because of the time they did not have to prepare. Unless this random occurance caused them to randomly for no specific reason store food. And if it started off with one squirrel then the chances of that one squirrel having that random occurance has unbelievably shattering odds against squirrels existing at all. About the same odds as a person finding a penny in the state of texas stacked 5 foot high with quaters blindfolded.

We are now looking back at a couple of thousand years of scientific theories and nobody's laughing. Newton is relevant for eternity just as Einstein and countless others. Quantum theory, for example, enabled us to build solid state transistors which is precisely the reason you have a PC. Everything technological we've ever done has been made possible by theories of the day. Newer theories are simply more detailed or explain facts better. Accurate things stay accurate forever.
the big band is not ... ( 1 week ago by ChampKenny)
the big band is not a myth, if the universe is expanding and accelerating and you could play spacetime in rewind it would come back to together.
dark energy seems ... ( 1 week ago by oprottenmethiphop)
dark energy seems like bogus to me. a kind of "deus ex machina" for things we don't understand. maybe the big bang theory is bogus too then. If you can't explain 90% of the universes mass, and attribute it to dark energy, that's the same kind of theory religions have used over the ages.
What do you mean we ... ( 1 week ago by superpsilocybin)
What do you mean we? Who is we? When did I say anything about Newton or Einstein?
Your comment is not even related to mine, what point are you trying to make?
You really don't ... ( 1 week ago by superpsilocybin)
You really don't know what you are talking about, you should at least do some research on the theory of evolution before you start slamming it.
and I neve said I supported the theory of evolution, because I don't think it's true, I said that YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION.
Yea how did you ... ( 1 week ago by Zavita18)
Yea how did you come to that conclusion? I've done plenty of research. And again don't put something on here unless you can back it up.

I was clearly answering to another post by another person, but now I can't find it after a quick search. Never mind.

evolution is not a theory, its a fact... what we theorize is why not if.
I believe; I know ( ... ( 5 days ago by Oneworld87)
I believe; I know (Belief: Forcing upon yourself to know something, even if others of which who lack a belief in such idealogy and thus, they shall see it as a null fact or such), that life is infinite. Even though I lack belief in cosmic authority, I do however, believe in a life after death; life prior to life; death prior to life; infinite time; infinite space; if universe is not infinite: universe is a cosmic body similar to a galaxy, etc; I don't believe in the big bang or such.
perhaps gravity is ... ( 4 days ago by lostismyconstent)
perhaps gravity is not fully understood, maybe its not as simple as more mass= more gravity and its not a simple scale but instead more matter means more gravity only under certin cercomstances. ?
oh but what do i know, im just a geeky highschooler who finds this stuff fasinating. thanks for the vid!
