A .swf file is a flash file that you have created (actually saved your project in) when you did it in your flash software. The .fla is the flash root (editable). You need to have both to modify in dreamweaver. The .swf is a FLASH file or movie file. It's the one that has effects and makes motions. If you need help, send me a message as I've made these types of websites already. By the way, very well done video you have here! Very informative!!!!!!! A must see!!!!!!!!!!

thank for ur great tutorials. i just want to ask a question, do you have a tutorial which shows how to insert a flash dropdown nav bar? because everytime i insert my dropdown navbar to dream weaver it includes the white blank area(the space where your choices would appear) is there anyway i can make that area editable? or at least change the bgcolor because it looks terrible having that white blank area on my page. i just starting to work with dw.

My .swf doesn't show on my site. I even uploaded the .swf itself and the images as well. The writting shows up but not the .swf. The .swf is my Header so it's really important.
