Don't know who the pianist is - I beleive this one was recorded in 1951. Sure is great work though!
I love the incredible syncopation, and actually, everything about that piece.

This is the ONLY version recorded with a pianist and with two takes issued on Pearl Pl 11 = 33 1/3 Lp and on States 131 = 78 rpm . Recorded Chicago October 25 1952 . Reference = The Blues Discography 1943 / 1970 page 421

anybody know who the 2nd guitar is playing lead? every session notes I've seen note as "unknown"...beautiful advanced lines against Nighthawk's country blues playing and singing.
