i used to do this for sims 2, although sims 2 is much easier to manipulate and make clothes, you need to pay money to upload stuff on second life, its robbing so i dont do it

This is NOOB textures, if you saw this in second life, it is textureless. It needs depth, shadow and a texture. Learn GIMP, before doing a tutorial please

yeah I should of sped it up or something atleast but it was just a basic idea after all and its helped a lot of people out once they get this they will be adding all sorts of things and textures to their clothing

couldn't you just draw the outline and then use a fill tool? I mean, I don't use GIMP, but it should have a fill tool no?!

This needs a part 2 to show how to put it together and upload into Second Life.
By the way, it would have been easier and quicker to use 'fill' command to fill in all that black, rather than doing all that laborious filling in.

Its a cool vid. Simple to the point, and not everyone is as elaborate as most. But at least someone took the time to actually help another person out instead of just sit and complain about why didn't you do this or that. Nsctp, thanks for the vid, i am glad that you have tried to help others.

It's for an avatar. ^_^ Both a female and male avatar can wear this. Even if it were designed for a female avatar a guy could still wear it. lol... clothes are pretty much universal in Second Life as they are in real life.
