UAH MSU satellite records have released the December 2008 data. The anomaly shows 0.074 °C of cooling since November which is pretty substantial.

The overall trend of warming is set to continue.

It's tempting to reciprocate the hostility, but that does little to help the occasional viewer who comes here hoping to learn something. In responding to these, Ive found email to offer me more scope to provide both direct answers and a list of valuable sources. Viewers who email me questions appear to share this view.

The global warming trend as predicted is still upward,the models are getting better and better at predicting the trend.
Visit the UK Met Office site,they along with many others,ie,Royal Society,NASA,NSIDC,etc,
provide excellent and accessible information on climate change and it's causes.

I do believe that 2006,2007 and 2008 are still above average years in terms of warming and certainly sit in the top 20 of hottest years in recorded history.
Of course there are little annual ups and downs,but don't be fooled,the overall trend, as predicted,is upwards.
