Sonny's greatest value lies not in his ability as a sax player, but in his ability to teach those around him about life. He is "The Master" and could easily be a pompous individual, full of himself. Instead, he is one of the most humble, warm, and decent people I have ever met.
When asked what the most important thing is that I learned from Sonny Rollins, the answer is easy: HUMILITY. God Bless Sonny Rollins!
