Array ( 8 months ago by djbravetti)
hey aRandomDj :)

Before the drums ... ( 3 months ago by zamil25)
Before the drums came in there was clipping sounds in between every 3 notes or so. Is that because it is a bad software synth or does it have something to do with Ableton as a software.
Array ( 3 months ago by djbravetti)
Hi Zamil25,
Fortunately That "clipping" can be avoided easily if needed. There can be several solutions for that, basically modifying the amplitude envelopes to produce smooth transitions will do the trick.
If you need more technical data on why that is happening don't hesitate on ask.
What I found interesting on your comment is what you said about a "software synth". Where you saw that "software synth" you are talking about?
Best,
Gustavo

Thanks for the response. Anyway, when I said software synth I meant a synth from Ableton live. For example, in reason I could choose a sampler or a synth. Sometimes specific patches from a specific synth create noises, either distortion or clipping. Where you using an external synth. If so, what kind were you using? I just got a nord lead 3 though i can't use it in Reason. I intend on getting Ableton soon. Looks amazing. Do you perform live with ableton?
