What a difference now with the old days.
Those guys have more courage than those who drive a f1 car today.
What a circuit - what an era.
not that new crap!
it's a shame that these LEGENDARY racetracks-Nurburgring,Spa-francorchamps and Monza(the pre-1967 version with it's infamous banked section, not the now-current circuit)-aren't up to their original glory
even the original Nordschleife(northern loop)section isn't being used by the f%@*@ng current F1 management board anymore,so as not to destroy their hi-tech machines
Many countries in Europe were thinking about banning formule cars (F1, F2) and
sport-prototypes if the killings wouldn't end.
As to the domination of one or two teams, with a few exceptional years (1982) that's always been the case in Grand Prix racing since 1906.
The difference was that these teams would change as the the gap between the rich and the poor didn't exist in the 60s.
