Gustav, help me understand here. I just searched everywhere for facts on the Carrera 2S and nothing came up for the 997. Not even on Porsche's main website. I know there was a 993 2s though. But in your other video the Carrera S beat the M3 convertible by legnths. What's the story here?

911 Carrera 2S pre faclift it is. Nice car.
M3 Convertible go beaton because of its weight, almost 350-400 kg heavier than the 911 S Convertible, partly because of the steel roof. On hte other hand the M3 is a great coupe as well and not a flimsy soft top ;)

Is the m3 in the video tuned? Or is there something wrong with my car? My car is 10month old and 21500km so it shouldnt be anything wrong with it. I clocked my car to 14,1sec 50-200km/h and my brothers car to 14,2sec Have someone clocked an m3 E92?

Something ain´t quite right with this race because I have done the same race with my M3 E92 against my brothers 997 Carrera 2s (100% stock he bought it new). When we raced from 50-250km/h and 100-250km/h ours cars were very equal every time we raced. The only difference between the two cars were 2-3m at very high speed (235-250km/h) not even close the huge distance in the video.

Generally those cars doesn't sell well, but for those who buy it love it. I am thinking of a M3 DKG Sedan myself.

I think it was down to the drivers more so than the cars......I am sure I heard the porsche hit the rev limiter at 1:03.
It would be interesting to match up 2009 Porsche C2S PDK against 2009 BMW M3 DKG.
