A Timetable for the Neocons by the Southern Avenger

Uploaded by: southernavenger
Video Description:
When the Iraq government recently announced they wanted a timetable for withdrawal of US troops, it was no surprise that Bush, McCain and the Republican establishment dismissed their wishes - which exposed their desire for a permanent military presence in the Middle East, the true goal of their neoconservative sponsors.

Sounds like a cool ... ( 4 months ago by FateEternal)
Sounds like a cool book. Thanks for recommending it to us. Is it similar to something Pat Buchanan would write?
When did Ron Paul ... ( 4 months ago by FateEternal)
When did Ron Paul do that? I thought he was only for going after the people responsible (that country was not).
It seems as though ... ( 4 months ago by FateEternal)
It seems as though that gets ignored, though. :(
At least Obama's ... ( 4 months ago by FateEternal)
At least Obama's not talking about 100 years, but I think he could bankrupt the country with socialism while McCain could do that with overseas intervention. I don't think either should get a vote.
Hillary's book = fiction. hahahah
Politically ... ( 4 months ago by FateEternal)
Politically challenged would be an understatement. :) Maybe if people don't get around to getting a new tv to keep up with the digital connection, they'll find something to do such as checking out the real issues. :)
The problem is that most people probably would agree that voting for anyone other than a Rep. or Dem. is a wasted vote. If there was somehow a way for everyone to get together and vote for a Libertarian, I think that would make all the difference.
Probably the former ... ( 4 months ago by FateEternal)
Probably the former. :(
Yup! He even ... ( 4 months ago by Whoo69)
Yup! He even praises George McGovern and disputes the Republican claim that he's a total liberal or hippie.
I haven't checked ... ( 4 months ago by FateEternal)
I haven't checked out any of McGovern's stuff, but maybe I will. So who's labeled a total liberal or hippie - Kaufman (which I think is what you're saying) or McGovern?
I was asking ... ( 4 months ago by FateEternal)
I was asking PizzaGod about when did Ron Paul submit a bill..., but thanks.
Maybe you know what that person's talking about?
P.S. The way ... ( 4 months ago by FateEternal)
P.S. The way neocons are running things, you'd think Mayor McCheese was in charge. hehe
Dr. Paul called for ... ( 4 months ago by immanent)
Dr. Paul called for the vote knowing that he would vote down on it anyway. The point was to follow the Constitution and have Congress declare war and deliberate it, rather than delegate the authority to the executive.
A majority of Islam ... ( 4 months ago by immanent)
A majority of Islam would be appeased if Palestinians could have their half of Jerusalem back and if Israel would stop building settlements on their lands and walls/checkpoints to herd them like cattle.
If you think Iran wants Israel "wiped off the map," then I suggest you do some minor research into what Ahmadinejad actually said and what the position of the Ayatollah really is.
Obama: even if he ... ( 4 months ago by immanent)
Obama: even if he is truly against intervention in Iraq, which I am by no means convinced of, he is definitely supporting intervention in Afghanistan and possibly Pakistan. Being that his advisers are mostly Clinton Administration people, I would expect to see intervention in the Congo, Colombia, Sudan and elsewhere. You know what that means: more blowback, more lives lost, more American prosperity being destroyed, and thus more economic crisis.
The sad thing is ... ( 4 months ago by BorislavX)
The sad thing is you actually believe that.
Never mind the fact Palestinians were already offered half of Jerusalem during peace talks when Arafat was alive. Never mind that the Israelites kicked all the settlers out of Gaza and gave up the land which is being used to launch rockets at Israel. Never mind that they traded a child killer for 2 corpses today. Never mind year after year of Muslim hatred and terrorist attacks. Ridiculous.
The complete ... ( 4 months ago by BorislavX)
The complete obliteration of Israel is both on the agenda of Hamaz and Hazbulah which is controlled by Iran. AhmadJihaddan has called for the destruction of Israel time and time again while denying the Holocaust. The whole of Israel is about 1% of the land that Arabic countries control. Never mind the history of Islam conquest stopped at the gates of Vienna. You clearly haven't a clue of what you're talking about.
1. Israel always ... ( 4 months ago by immanent)
1. Israel always demands recognition of their legitimacy, with no historical precedence, different from recognition, which the Palestinians are happy to do.
2. Gaza: Israel retains control of air space, territorial waters, offshore maritime access, the population registry, entry of foreigners, imports and exports as well as the tax system.
3. Casualties in the 2006 war were grossly disproportionate on the Lebanese civilian side.
4. Complete ... ( 4 months ago by immanent)
4. Complete obliteration of Israel is not the goal of any of those groups. If you actually research the goals of these organizations, you would know they are pretty legitimate, and you would feel the same way if you were in their position. They have repeatedly endorsed a two-state solution that is blocked by Israel and the U.S. Read more Chomsky.
Also, please source your claim where Iranian leadership has called for the destruction of Israel or denied the Holocaust.
McGovern. Duh. No ... ( 4 months ago by Whoo69)
McGovern. Duh. No offense, but are you new to political history or something? You should really research the rise of the New Right and past political conventions and elections. McGovern was pretty strongly attacked by the Right as being something of an isolationist or sort of a "cut and runner", much like the Republicans do today to anyone who says we should get out of Iraq. McGovern, as you know, gave the famous "come home, america" speech.
Actually, yes. :) I ... ( 4 months ago by FateEternal)
Actually, yes. :) I wasn't really interested in politics up until a couple years ago. Within the last few months or so, I started watching SA's videos as well as checking out who Ron Paul is (probably thanks to SA).
Things haven't been the same since.
ok, thanks! ( 4 months ago by FateEternal)
ok, thanks!

Obama may not say ... ( 4 months ago by Silvsilvchan)
Obama may not say it, but he would. We've been in Japan and Germany since the end of WWII and South Korea almost as long.
Obama may not be the warmonger and civil liberty basher McCain is, but still leaves a lot to be desired. McCain may not be the socialist Obama is, but still leaves a lot to be desired. They may as well be the same candidate at this point.
Also Immanent hit the nail on the head.
Great commentary. ... ( 4 months ago by sidrosteel)
Great commentary. Israel can defend herself.
How about some commentary about the dollar and the Fed?
If we attack Iran, all hell is going to break loose in the middle east. What happens if nations demand we repay our debts? Financial collapse overnight.
Fuck the central bankers and the neo conartists.
