ATTENTION: To clear things up! The reason It's called CLoverfield is because that is the exit Abrams takes when leaving work. I'm aware that that is the official reason. If you guys dont read this part -damn- but I will make another video clearing things up and more theories and such.

Cloverfield is a really good movie, i saw it twice and as much hype their was waiting to find out some decent answers like "what is the monster, where did it come from?". AND THE MOVIE FED YOU NOTHING. Which i actually enjoy, a lot. It keeps making you want more. If you look closely into the movie, you can spot many hints as to what the monster might be/its purpose.
Also, in the alley, when they just decided to go into the city, an asian man stops him and starts warning him in Japanese. I thought it might have been a clue, but it was only translated to "They are spiders! evil, paristic spiders in the city, dont go further!". so yea, not much spoilers there.
Anyway, i might do another one of these if I learn more about the movie. I don't own Cloverfield or anything, this is a fan-made conspiracy vid.

No it is a Sea Monster. When those things fall off it's back, those are like parasitic organisms that live on it's back under the water. Ever heard of that whales? And the thing that falls in the end is a satellite and it hits it and makes it angry. And honestly it could be called Cloverfield perhaps uh maybe because IT WAS THE LAST PLACE THEY WERE BEFORE THEY DIED????? When Hud drops the camera he is, low and behold, in a cloverfield!!!!

The reason why it's called Cloverfield is because J.J Abrams misheard the saying that someone told him of a street that his friend lived on and that he had saved his life once and wanted to repay the debt but as he to J.J, he misheard it and called it Cloverfield. I think the street was called Clover road or something. I can't remember.
