OMG, that is so slanderous - Paul can play in ANY key, and do it well - Have you considered the fact that he was doing it for Marty's benefit too, just so it was a simple groove to establish? THEN they can make it as complex as they like... It's like the most common 12 bar blues key is ALSO "A" - but you dont hear Robben Ford and guys like that bitching about the key...
