I'm french and really love emilie simon. She's not bjork and we can't compra the two of them but she i a great musician and i totally disagree with you guys!
She's not pretencious...Her music is so original in our country and i'm a big fan of her...I'm sorry but I couldn't let you say that about her...I saw her in live and her show is just great so shut up people!

sorry to dissapoint all you Emilie fans, she's good but she DOES have a lot of Bjork in her music and video art direction, her videos look like they'd been inspired by Bjork's "Unravel", "Pagan Poetry", "Cocoon". And Bjork has been using your so called "innovative" instruments for quite some time now as well as working with sound engineers for her records.

I agree with the fact that this performance has something to see with Björk (maybe it's a tribute here); but listening to other songs, you can hear that she has her own style, Fleurs de saison for instance: the articulation when she sings, it's really her style
