It depends how good and fast your connection is. How many Seeders and Leechers are on the torrent. I downloaded Pee-wee's big adventure yesterday and I had it downloading overnight.

no its not true that the speed doesnt increase by changing the certain numbers, my download speed b4 was only 20/kb but after i used the way shown in some tutorials it increased upto 200/kb though still i need to increase it bcoz my ports are not fully opened. it might not work with all but with some it definitely works

what i do with bittorrent is i set the upload speed to 7, at which there is no longer any restrictions to my download speed.
