Take out the Beatles..Queen for me are p4p the best. The Stones, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Who all legendary..but Queen are right up there and my all time fave.
The only thing that is important is the opinion of yourself and all of the other fans of that music.
And is Deep purple actually heavy metal? I always mentioned them as hard rock.
