I remember I was taking care of a blind kitty I found on the streets, apparently some dumbass burned his eyes with a cigarrete. I used to give him some of my cat's food, and water. After some days, a woman took him to her home. He was really cute, and also seemed really able to live a nice life, despite his problem.

Thank You! I have a CH kitty and truly she IS the best cat I have known. Extremely loving and trusting. A dear character. Watching her sometimes breaks my heart but she seems unaffected even unaware that anything about her is in the least different. Her outlook is always wide-eyed wonder and unending optimism. She greets all she meets with open accepting love. Just waiting to see what new adventure awaits.

Our vet didn't know what kind of disease she had... We know she's in no pain, she's a really sweet cat. Just like Charley.

basically charley's feral mom was sick when she was pregnant with him and his sister. she had other litters after him (we rescued those kittens and got her fixed) and those kittens were fine. no CH. i think there is a good explanation on wikipedia that explains it better. but it isn't leukemia or aids or anything...
