Love this song & Steely Dan but have a funny memory to go along with this one. I lived in a motel-turned-dorm @ the art college I went to. It was for out of town students only, like myself, about 30 of us living in this bleak shanty. This guy above me played this album day/night, drove everybody nuts. Fall, winter & spring, he'd have the window open & we heard this a million times. He was cool, got stoned 24/7, but was obsessed with SD. How can I hear this now & not have THAT gem in my head?
