it could be, but try closing itunes and double click the new ringtone to open itunes and add the ringtone.

How to change file extesion in Vista!
1.Click Computer in the Start menu
2.Press the Alt key on the right side of your keyboard
3.A hidden menu will appear in the Computer window. Click Tools and then click Folder Options
4.Click the View tab
5.Uncheck Hide extensions for known file types
6.Click OK to save your changes!

add it from ur computer but if you have 2.x firmware you can just go to safari and save an mage by just leaving your finger on it until it asks if you want to save image
