Not only are we thinking about the soldiers fighting in the middle east but we think of their families and neighbors as well. If America doesn't stand up for what is right, who will? If we sit back and do the easy thing (nothing), then we sign our own death warrant because those in the middle east hate the United States, freedom, diversity, and everything else this country stands for. They hate us far more than you can possibly imagine, and would kill all of us if given the chance.

Does that make any sense? This may come to a shock to you, but Americans HAPPENED to be allies, and got involved once FDR gave the word. It was Truman's descision to drop the atomic bomb that once and for all ended any more hope of the Axis rising again. FDR and Truman leadership took America to battle and came out as victors...THese two democrats fixed the mess of that idiot Herbert Hoover that led America into a downward spiral

I disagree. I don't think those presidents did very much to help at all. Winston Churchill did far more. As it was, America waited far too long before we entered into the war. That nearly cost us dearly.

Once again you keep assuming I speak simply because of personal reasons...With recession, dangerous Credit Crisis that ruined one of Wall Streets more prominent companies Bear Stearns, a war where Bin Laden;'s name is no longer mentioned, Foreclosures at its highest, and most importantly people clearly upset as you can see how the Democrats took over control of BOTH the house and senate after 12 years..This is not America's moment...but it will be.
