Scott Ritter, a former UNSCOM weapons inspector, was the single individual who, before the war, stuck his neck out stated that Iraq did NOT possess WMD. He was all over national TV with this message but was dismissed as heretic.
Ahmadinejad never stated he wanted to wipe Israel off the map. An intentional mistranslation by the warmongering corporate media.

israel already have more than 150 illegal atom bombs so if it's the case than America should first bomb israel instead iran so that law and order could be restored and world will become a better place to live in.
Israel and its policies and influence over america, its media, government, foreign policies is a great threat to world peace.
If Iran did build the bomb, said adviser Sami Alfaraj, then the Jewish state might be one of the countries -- along with the United States and Pakistan -- Gulf Arab nations would ask to provide a "nuclear umbrella" to guarantee their security.

This week's Annual Threat Assessment appearance on Capitol Hill by Mike McConnell, the director of national intelligence, seemed to stand in contrast to two months ago, when the public version of a new National Intelligence Estimate on Iran blew up a policy storm with its conclusion—in spite of heated rhetoric to the contrary—that Iran had halted its work on how to design and build a nuclear warhead way back in 2003.
They know that Israel wants to break any moslem country with any power, not because they pose a threat, but because they may oppose their genocidal and imperialistic policies.
They also know that Israel controls the US. They are not suicidal.
They need a deterrent, and fast. Otherwise they are dead.
but i cant seem to remember zardari, bhutto, and even musharaff threatening Israels existence

UN nuclear watchdog chief Mohamed ElBaradei disputes Western claims about Iran, saying the country is far from developing nuclear weapons.
Anyhow. Both the NIE report and what AIEA say is the same. There is no evidence for a nuclear weapons program.
