I just saw this movie last night. One of my favoriates. And yeah I always hated that she said no, because I thought they would have been great together. But, when you think about it you can't marry someone you don't feel that way about and they probably were more brother and sister in her eyes.

i wouldn't say that pertains to everyone. i think it depends on how strong the bound is. i know friendships i've had when i was in my early teens that i will never ever forget. to me they were practically life altering. it just depends on the bond.

That strand of spit! The first time I watched this it completely RUINED the scene for me, I don't like this version much anyway. I can't belive they didn't see that strand of spittle when they were editing I don't know why it looks so gross but it totally ruins their kiss
