It's FICTION, these are vampires and werewolves.. and a half human crossbreed, we're dealing with here NOT your brother and step-dad, I hope. Any meaningful message conveyed with vampires is always metaphorical, or theological. It's not a book on how to raise your own lover, that would be a "How to" book, this is FICTION: A story made up in ones imagination to entertain and inspire, not factual or intended to inform. Find some bigger issues to worry your pretty little head with.

Gah. What exactly is the point of all these "Dark Siders"? All they seem to do is bash Stephenie Meyer and try to spread the message of hate....what's the point really?
If you didn't like Breaking Dawn, then you can either fall back the 3 that you liked OR get invloved with another series. I just don't see why you have to linger on it.....

THIS INTERVIEW WAS SOOOO DISAPPOINTING! Everybody already know everything what ellen asked stephenie! I thought Ellen was going to persuade stephenie to continue midnight sun? Im so unhappy. You didint even know that it was finished at the end, ellen didnt even announce her saying "thankyou for coming, stephenie meyer everybody!!!!"

In an earlier book Edward said that having sex with Bella could kill her. There is no way he can say that it's now safe just because they're married.
Between wanting her to experience a "human" experience and concern for her safety, I think th latter should have won out. They could have had all the sex they wanted once Bella was turned, and vamp sex does not seem to actually be worse than human sex, so...

LIKE your brother in soem ways, but NOT your brother. "Reverse imprinting", not related to imprinting in Meyer's book but rather the scientific phenomenon, states that children aren't sexually sttracted to people they grew up with in the first two years of life.
Let's assume this is not the case for magical!baby.
what aotu the fact that when she stops maturing with a body that looks 17, she will be ONLY SEVEN YEARS OLD.

did you not notice how their love grew throughout the story? in bk#1 E says it can kill her, but later on he gets used to her humanity & to how delicate he must be w/ her. B wanted to have the human experience bcz she didn't know how it'll be when she turned. can you blame her? i can't. maybe it's bcz i'm still concerned about how my life is changing, w/ marriage, children to on the way... Bella is 18, I'm 34, yet, we have very similar concerns...

JAM, this is the second and LAST time I am wasting my time on you, no matter what dumb things you say. Some of the things you complain about are just mistakes ppl make, we make mistakes all the time, so do these characters. it's about humanity even in the most unlikely places. The last thing I'll say I want you to take seriously, look into yourself and figure out what's wrong with you and why you have such a pessimistic attitude...

You don't like the books, we get it. Give them to the Goodwill and leave us alone then, I'm sure you like some things I hate but I'm not gonna hound you about them, buzz off and let us like what we like. We don't have to be like you. I have issues with the book. You don't. Why don't you move on? Why does my having issue bother you so much?
No- I don't see positive things in BD. I though the book sucked pretty much from go. I also think that her reaction to the MS leak is ridiculous.
But trust me, there are many things in life that I love. I'm so pleased that you have decided to judge me as a person by my reaction to one book.

Can't you at least respect the fact that I stand up for my beliefs? I believe that there are extremely dangerous things in these books. Whether or not you agree- would you rather that I take my strong convictions and ignore them? Because that is much, MUCH more cowardly and despicable.
You telling me to shut up or that I'm pathetic won't get me to stop standing up for what I believe. Throw whatever you want at me- but at least acknowledge that I have the integrity to stand behind my beliefs.

You are absolutely right. A promise ring symbolizes the "promise" to stay emotionally and sexually faithful to that person. It is also often the first step to engagement.
I'm so glad I'm not alone....
