Ok for anyone who is unclear on the difference in the 2 songs, I will clarify now... On Hendrix's album Electric Ladyland, he had the songs Voodoo Chile which was the 4th song i believe, it was much longer and it also was much slower and had more of a blues feel to it. Voodoo Child(Slight Return) which is the last song(correct me if im wrong) on the album, and it was much shorter and had more of a fast paced rock feel. Now obviously this version is very long, in fact its not even the full song

There is still another 3 minutes roughly to this version(played at woodstock) but i guess it got cut off due to lack of space or w/e the reason was. Either way Voodoo Chile and Voodoo Child(Slight Return) are 2 completely different songs, other than the fact he talks about being a voodoo chile/child... Not only can you tell this is Voodoo Child(Slight Return) by the the pacing, but by the lyrics as well... So, there it is, the difference between the 2. R.I.P Hendrix, god of guitar!

yep he played august 18 on the monday! erm..it's because the crowd was condesnsed from 500,000 to 180,000 so it wasn't as big as it should have been! i think thats why.
