Very nice instruction and groove. Have you checked out the new drumstik, the slapstik? It enables you to doulbe up on the high hat. I would be interested in your opinion, Check it out by searching for "slapstik" here on youtube.

I saw the video response you sent for "The Doubling Technique." It's looks like a fun concept and neat to full around with, but I don't think I'd use one. The only benefit it would have is speeding up the hi hat hand because it wouldn't work on a drum or crash... Might work on the ride... Anyway, looks like it might be fun. Good idea!
