Not all of the sleeves are cut off. Look at the first blue robe, it has normal long sleeves. And the tuxedo wasn't even inverted. It went from black and white to white and BLUE. And the white tuxedo's sleeves are slightly shorter than the black one. Also the black tuxedo has long tails on the back while the white one has short tails.

1;35- look at her back as she appears, you can see a flash of the fabric from the previous dress vanish. You can notice that once her hair changes, so will her her outfit. it always gets lengthier. The skirts continue to get looser and longer nearer to the end. I think that she has a bunch of different layers of fabric that make up one cool dress. As well, consider the fact that whenever one of them changes in those shiny blue things, when they step out of it, the other person drapes it a certain so that it fills with air like a bubble, therefore not deflating and showing the mass of clothes inside that had been worn.
