actually evolution is not only compatible with islam, there are even hadith that speak of evolution. Creationism is christian/jewish/hindu thing where as islam supports a naturalistic creation process. As for fasting, I don't what your argument is. We believe that since the beginning God has sent various prophets to every nation in the world. So of course religions would have certain similarities like fasting. And islam is the last of the religions sent by God

Muslims are the only religion that take science as part of their philosophy. Muslim scholars such as Nasir al-Din al-Tusi were the ones who actually came up with idea of evolution, centuries before people like Darwin ripped his ideas off. God since the beginning has sent prophets to all parts of the globe, and they have taught similar messages and fasting is part of it. Furthermore islam forbids fasting if you are sick, weak, etc. You must do it only when your health isn't compromised.
