| Haha. Now I feel old. A soundpage, for those who were too young, was an instructional insert in GuitarPlayer magazine. It was a vinyl page about 6" by 6" with grooves in it just like a record. You'd place it on your turntable with a coin on top to keep it from slipping off. I guess you could say it was a precursor to the cds you get in guitar magazines today. |

| that's true to an extent. But even a master guitarist is limited by the quality of his instrument. When I play on an expensive guitar in a shop it sounds a million times better and cleaner than on my crappy SA at home |

| oh yeah, don't get me wrong, a guitar's tone can be a huge deal if it's cheap. trust me, i've had some pretty crappy guitars just because of the brand (yes, First Acts are pretty crappy), but i was mainly saying that a great guitarist can even make bad guitars sound good. i remember MAB back in the 90's came to a guitar center in los angeles and he picked up a first act and melted everyone's faces on it. but you're right, i would buy higher quality guitars such as gibsons instead of epiphones |

| They're good in their own ways. If you want incredible listen to Shawn Lane or Paul Gilbert or Buckethead. There's incredible written all over those guys because they not only can shred but are multidimensional and can write amazing songs. |
