After doing some heavy cleaning, mostly, they are all dancing to freshness. Note - I took everything out of the tank to be cleaned and still have some more algae to scrape off in the tank.

Calling fellow fish-lovers!I have a little dilemma on my hands here. I got a tropical fish tank thats 50L and I dont think I was ready for them- or an infection is in the tank- because they keep dying. Who thinks i should drain all the water out (when they die), clean everything and start again but with coldwater goldfish (because they look cool and are much hardier)? Any replies would be very, very helpful.

Have you gotten Betta Fish before? I've had three, They last for about a year!
BUT DONT put them in one tank (Betta fish are fighter fish) They'll fight each other if they spot another fish- Most of mine died because it was really close to the mirror....

very cute fish, especially the yellow and orange one :0) You might have had too much light in your tank, that's one reason for algae. But you did a great job, tank looks fresh :0) i just posted my tiny tank, please everyone have a look, I will be upgrading to 55 gallons soon, just FYI. :0) comments are welcome :0)

This is so cute! It's funny though. My goldfish do the same thing! They get all frisky after I've clean there tank too! I guess there doing there happy dance too!
