It sounds to me like it's due to the poor audio quality of this clip. Listen to her speaking in the beginning; there's a subtle, but weird flutter to her voice, too.

The lady does not use trick sound effects. There is obviously a problem with the video, hence the distortion at the bottom of the picture. Her voice also distorts in the introduction. She hardly has tremelo pedal on that...!

I never understood why people over-value technicality over traditional composition. Yeah, Jose is far better in technicality, but this version (despite its bad recording quality) isn't talentless and is probably closer to a traditional style of play than Jose's will ever come to. Technicality is only one piece of musicianship, but it seems the mainstream will pay only attention to that aspect. Why?

o wait if this is not Malaguena Salerosa I am sorry then it should be from Spain "La Madre Patria," but still great tune and we still play Spanish music in Mexico so its OK.(jeje I am drunk and this is the best music to enjoy my drunkenness well this and Jose Alfredo Jimenez music I recomend)

All you who posted and will post negative comments. Put your guitar on your lap and play Malaguena. If you play it better than her then you are still a deadbeat. If you make one mistake trying to play the song then you will suck forever. Every time you play and make a mistake you will think of this post and automatically fuck up because assholes who critize for no reason don't deserve to be listened to.

This is not from Mexico. It is from Cuba as she explained at the beginning. Malaguena is Originally from Spain and is in the style of Flamenco! Ole I have heard there are many interpretations of Malaguenas. A lot of people from Spain that I know did not like her interpretation. I like her on the ten string classical guitar much more!
