9:52 pm: your heroine sits in a crowded theater, the raucous calls of hormonally imbalanced and socially challenged pubescent boys and the droning hum of twittery older couples blocked out by the music blaring through the headphones of his orange juice-dazzled ipod.
He taps his new cyan infused pimpin' sneakers on the semi-sticky floor and ponders what will await. How will the final performance of ill-fated actor Heath Ledger (who just so happens to share the birth-date of your aforementioned femme fatal) measure up to expectations... and will these insufferable monkeys ever be civil?

My compatriots were suitably terrified by the people behind us, who wanted to touch each other. They found consolation in drawing heinous images in my commonplace book.
A diminutive woman in the burgundy uniform of the theater called for attention in a high squeaky voice. She announced that the theater had sold out, and that every seat, meaning every seat (she insisted this point), was to be occupied. Among the throngs a few driven individuals appeared attired as their most adored characters from the franchise. There was a fairly well composed scarecrow, however he failed for his mask lacked the required maggots. (tisky tisky)
I hear behind me "We played Pokemon in stats." I scoff, "duh. Everyone plays Pokemon in stats."
Finally, 12:01 am on Friday arrives...
and then five minutes after that the lights dim and the show begins...
