Hollywood's leading nonprofit organizations, the Entertainment Industry Foundation and the Motion Picture & Television Fund, have joined "Divided We Fail" to bring attention to the domestic issues that worry Americans most: health care and financial security.
This 60-second PSA is an initial part of the collaboration. Directed by actor and director Tony Goldwyn -- grandson of legendary producer and EIF Founder Samuel Goldwyn -- with music composed by Philip Glass, the PSA features Ben Affleck, Garth Brooks, Dakota Fanning, Morgan Freeman, Eva Mendes, Joaquin Phoenix, Jeremy Piven and Reese Witherspoon.

Aren't you concerned about healthcare? This is beyond a political debate. Medicine and healthcare are way too expensive, it's getting ridiculous, and it's bad for business too, and companies, so it's bad for liberalism too... Think about it...
We're talking about basic human needs here, and it's a campaign to make people react and think together, nobody told you healthcare should be for free, but the actual situation is just crazy and prices can't go on up, we need to react.

Why aren't these organization advocating for CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT to health care? Constitutional CHANGE. Then EVERYONE has the same health care at NO cost. Just sign the bill if it's correct and gov pays the bill to health care providers? Oh, I know - we wouldn't need AARP, non-profit hosp, non-profit this and that and doctor and hospital fees would be CAPPED and EVERYONE would have an equal right to ALL health care. No more HMO, Medicare, Medaide, ins, etc. WHY?

I am a senior who shares the frustration of the commenters below. Good as Divided We Fall is, I don't feel it is advocating nearly strongly enough. It should demand complete universal coverage, just like everyone else has all over the world, and should put far more pressure on public officials. If you agree, please contact me. Maybe we can help move things along more quickly without getting in the way of what's already being done.

I hate to say this but most American people are selfish, they only think about themselves not fellow citizen that does needs medical care. They always says that it cost too much but I guess spending billion of dollar on Iraq war is Ok and bailing out corp in term +$700 billion is ok too. Give me a fucking break
The only way to control prices is to have uniform price guide where is the price is consistent through out the country. Anyway , something have to done to address this issues!!!

AARP, what a joke. Can't you see they are the problem. Not from this add you stupid brainwashed ppl. Now that I'm a senior I can get any insurance in the world that is cheaper than AARP. It's not deal its a scam. This add is a scam. This is just for the old naive seniors that everyone preys on you always hear about. Maybe you better keep sending them money or the government will have to bail them out to next. So pay attention to this kind of add and don't let them pull the wool over your eyes.
